David Figliuzzi is a native of Connecticut and a recent graduate of Yale Divinity School with a Master of Divinity degree.

Ministry is a second career for David. Feeling the call to ministry, David stepped out of his corporate career in 2019 to pursue ordained ministry in the United Church of Christ. He brings to ministry his experience from roles such as Global Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Corporate Foundation Director. He has served in various settings, including a leadership role in the Southern New England Conference of the United Church of Christ, Sabbatical Pastor at Westfield Congregational Church, Resident Seminarian at First Church of Christ Congregational in Suffield, and has previously held various positions at his home church. 

David enjoys spending time in the Adirondacks and on Cape Cod, cooking for friends, and doesn't consider the day begun until the daily crosswords (and Wordle) are completed. He also enjoys acting, singing, and playing the piano, and especially loves exploring his Italian heritage in travel, food, and language. He lives in West Suffield, Connecticut with his husband, Rob.​
