Youth Groups

Our small but mighty Middle School Youth Group is open to young people in grades 6-8. Our High School Youth Group is open to young people in grades 9-12.  Generally, the groups meet twice a month from September to June.  Activities include service projects, meals together, and lots of fun! Confirmation is offered generally every other year for 9th and 10th graders.

Youth Mission

High school aged youth are invited to join in on Mission Trips or regional UCC youth gatherings which are offered once a year.  In 2017, we traveled to Slidell, Louisiana to repair homes, and in 2016, we traveled to Orlando for the UCC National Youth Event.  Fundraising for the trip occurs throughout the year.

Church School

Church school classes are offered during Sunday worship for children who are ages 3 and older, up to and including 8th grade.  Children stay for worship through the Message for All Ages, and are then dismissed to class.  Once a month, classes return to worship to partake of communion. The teaching approach is conversational, with various hands-on activities to reinforce the lessons.
