There’s an epidemic of loneliness and division in our culture today. Where can people come together and be accepted as their authentic selves? That is the community we strive to be!

As an Open and Affirming church, we embrace people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and backgrounds. We celebrate diversity and work to dismantle the barriers that divide us. Love knows no boundaries here. 

We value the young people that are part of our community. Children are an important part of our worship services and regularly contribute to our time together. See Children, Youth & Families.

Through creative programming, we work to build inter-generational relationships that enrich lives. We regularly host family-oriented events like our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper that welcomes the season of Lent, outdoor summer fun in local parks, and Advent and Christmas activities. At RHCC, the young, and young at heart, join together as part of one community. Our church community also provides small scholarships to those active youth and adults who pursue higher learning.

Widen the Circle

Our community building efforts are not just internal. We work to have a positive impact on the world around us and we do so through partnerships with people and organizations that share our mission.

With our extended reach and partnerships, we deepen our impact and carry God’s love in tangible ways to those who need an extra hand. RHCC is a visible presence in our community. Whether preparing meals, packing and delivering care packages, or attending a local event, our people are drawing the circle wider by expanding our relationships and making a difference.
