Learning, Seeking, Growing

At RHCC, we welcome all people to join us as we explore the questions of faith together!

Some people worry that to be part of a church community you must adhere to a strict set of beliefs. That’s not how we roll! We are a community of seekers and believers, and we come together with a lot more questions than answers.

Maybe you’ve been made to feel “less than” in other religious environments for not having all the answers or thinking differently than others. Here at RHCC we value that kind of diversity and believe it enriches all of us as we work to help each other in this journey of life.

Our programs for children and youth are also geared at meeting our young people and young families where they are. We seek to engage with children and share our ancient stories, so that they know they are loved and valued just as they are by God and by our community. Our youth and confirmation classes are directed toward helping young people explore and question their faith, rather than simply urging them to accept a doctrine.

We offer many opportunities for spiritual growth. Some people love to engage in Bible study and search for new insights from our sacred text. If that’s not your thing — don’t worry! Maybe you would prefer to join a book discussion group or attend a meditation session, we’ve got that, too.

All our ministries, each with a different focus, have one thing in common — a shared interest in building a more loving and justice-filled world. There’s something for everyone!

We hope you’ll get to know us and join us in our work as we grow in faith and knowledge…together.
